呢兩個調好容易分，識官話拼音嘅人都分得清：高平調嘅就相當於官話嘅第一聲，高降調相當於官話第四聲。試下用官話讀「分」同「糞」，你實會明白。
至於上家講到嘅「衝」「充」，單字都係讀高降，但喺「衝卡」「充卡」呢兩個詞中，因爲後面個字亦係陰平聲，所以前面嘅字只能讀陰平，否則好難讀。

成日強調港式粵語「冇分別」，凈係你冇分別至啩。有似冇人聽過香港人講粵語噉。

　　香港人都有分嘅，不過年紀大少少嗰脫機率大啲。芬記用文字講咁多，中二仔都未明，不如錄返段音，掟上嚟好過啦。

某啲字喺表示唔同詞性或者詞義嘅時候確實有唔同嘅調（甚至唔同嘅發音），但係都係固定嘅，英文都有呢種現像：
 
record  n. ['reko:d]  v. 
 
我哋都應該喺字典度清楚注明，如果少咗個聲調符號，點樣注明呢？

五綫譜嗰套標調方案係有分嘅，高平係55，高降係53。

講真啦，我諗絕大部份香港人都唔會覺得有分別，就連教我聲韻學既老師（土生土長香港人）都完全無提過呢樣野。

即使你平時講嘢冇分，都唔表示某個字冇分咖。
 
你會唔會將「香（高降）港」講成「香（高平）港」咖？如果真係講成「香（高平）」嘅話，人哋會以為香港係專門賣「香」嘅地方嚟咖。
