<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 24pt; mso-char-indent-count: 2.0; mso-char-indent-size: 12.0pt"><FONT size=3><SPAN style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: SimSun; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial">異族入主中原，對漢語也帶來不少影響。當時所謂的標準音，即官話，以帝王京邑之地的語言為準。漢語歷經胡、蒙、滿等地區方言的滲入，中原之音，經歷千變，尤其是政權易轉及遷都頻繁的年代，語音難以定準。漢人政權位於中原一帶，即北方，較常受到異族入侵，民族融和下帶動語言融合；相比之下，南方政局較穩定，各方面影響較少，語言也是。由此之故，漢語發展出現「南北有異」的現象；難怪有些喜以古語寫詩的現代人，捨北方普通話而取南方閩南話或廣東話。以今天的北京地為例，確有「古今言殊」現象。</SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-FAMILY: SimSun; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

<P class=MsoBodyText2 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><FONT face=Simsun color=#000080>不論是粵音「九聲」，抑或「中原之音」「四聲」，皆有「入聲」。（關於粵音「入聲」：你翻查任何一本有關粵語聲調的詞典，都會清楚標明有第７８９聲的就是「入聲」了，例如商務新詞典８５１頁註４）。</FONT></P>
<P><SPAN style="COLOR: navy; FONT-FAMILY: SimSun">粵語「入聲」之價值，其他方言不能取代，這可算是粵語最具價值的特質所在。現今中國語言實施統一化下粵語是否有需要保留？我個人認為關鍵在此項特質上，這是指語音方面；你們所提的當代粵文，是指文字上的書面語，也可說是其中一個重要的特質。但是，你們仔細思考，若果失去了最基本的語音特質，文字特質還可以推廣或保留嗎？<SPAN lang=EN-US><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></SPAN></P>
