煎堆萬里系親情（南海九江鎮煎堆）
<p>前年十二月中旬，我那位遠居海外、年逾花甲的表姐，帶著出生於美國，居住在法國的弟弟回鄉尋根。親人相聚，格外高興。表姐自少離開故鄉，對家鄉的一草一木，風味小吃難以忘懷，希望我能爲她買到九江煎堆。家鄉特産——九江煎堆是年宵食品，平日市場是極少供應的。現在離春節的時間尚有二個多月，我爲了滿足她倆之欲望，好不容易在一間小糕餅店購得幾個似盛醬油小碟的煎堆仔，從外觀就知道非上乘的傳統製作。可是，姐弟倆如獲至寶，吃得津津有味。我問：『聽說春節期間，你們那裏也有煎堆賣，是嗎？』表姐說：『是的。但在我心目中，始終是家鄉的吃得香甜味好。』當時，我以爲表姐所說的是客套語，因而沒有放在心內。 <br/><br/>去年初，離別數十年的堂兄弟帶著兒、媳、孫女從美國羅省返抵家鄉相聚。那時春節將臨，我陪他們逛年宵市場。在種類繁多的年宵食品，他們對九江煎堆卻情有獨鍾，不時駐足而觀，有時還與賣主閒聊，問這問那，或拍照留念。堂侄對我說：『我們喜愛九江煎堆是受家父的傳統影響，聽說過去伯母做得一手好煎堆，可惜我等小輩無緣品嘗。直至現在，我們在美國過春節，仍尋覓買九江煎堆（九江煎堆形狀扁圓，別處做的煎堆，是圓球形狀）賀年，表示不忘故鄉。今年回到故鄉過春節，能嘗家鄉製作的煎堆是最大的滿足感，也可以說我輩隨父親向家鄉「報了到」』這一番感情真摯的話，不禁使我想起了幼年、父母與煎堆的往事—— <br/><br/>六十年前，我母親原是一個大戶人家的婢女。每逢年晚，主人家都特聘一位大師傅來製作煎堆，並叫我母親幫手做鎖碎之事。久而久之，我母親學到了製作煎堆的手藝。母親嫁給父親之後，每到春節到來前也成了製作煎堆的核心人物。母親製作的煎堆雖非一流水準，但全家及戚友都十分捧場，特別我父親、堂兄等更爲讚賞。那時，父親、堂兄等到了美國謀生，每到年尾就來信索取；母親就拜在香港做出入口莊的堂叔捎帶煎堆給去賀年。有一年，父親在家信中還風趣地附上一則猜『煎堆』的謎語，寫著：谷家兄弟本名花，銀裝素裹巧摣拿；搓圓撳扁瑤池裏，脫去白袍著袈裟。 <br/><br/>隨著歲月的流逝，我的雙親已在六十年代相繼去世；而我，也是一個從教了十多年的『教師匠』了。祖國改革開放後，我惦記著海外親人相互間恢復了聯繫，並向堂兄寄贈了精美盒裝的九江大煎堆。堂兄在回信中說：自從伯母去世後，我從未吃過如此之佳品，真使我這個海外遊子『每逢佳節倍思親』了。伯母當年親手製作的煎堆的滋味，我一直忘不掉……。 <br/><br/>在那色澤一片金黃，香氣誘人的煎堆攤檔前，堂兄弟告訴我，在海外，九江煎堆與九江的鄉音、雙蒸酒、魚花等都爲人所稔知，祖籍廣東各地的同鄉們，一聽我濃厚的九江鄉音，知道我是九江人，就自然地起我們的家鄉特産，稱讚九江煎堆是年宵食品中的美點；連一些美國朋友品嘗後，也翹起拇指說『Not Bad!』我聽了頓時增添了幾分自豪感。 <br/><br/>這天，我陪著堂他們買了許多年宵品，當然少不了那充滿真摯感情、寓意堆堆疊疊成銀滿谷滿的家鄉九江大煎堆。 <br/><br/>過了春節，他們要起程返美，堂兄念念不忘的是——囑咐兒、媳至緊要記住攜帶親人饋贈的家鄉九江大煎堆</p>楼主几岁？
