大家应该搞清．英文化同拼音嘅区别．英文化係指用英文发音同写法，教鬼佬发一啲近似嘅音．拼音则係描述该字
嘅真正发音．

比較贊同“廣州人喺圖盧茲”嘅譯法。另外，廣州咪就係“Canton”啰，重使重新作過另外一個噶咩？

有些時候，當有 t p k 音的音節是弱音節，人們（尤其是美音）會把他們讀成不送氣，例如 water, potato，中國人聽起上來便覺得他們在說　wader 及 potado了。 這情況跟普通話及廣東話是有很大的分別，例如「太」及「帶」，這兩個字的子音都不會振動聲帶 (voiceless) ，我們以是否送氣來分辨他們，所以，在正式的IPA音標中，「太」的子音是 /t?/ ，而「帶」的子音是 /t/。對於外國人來說，這兩個字的子音都是 /t/音，這說明了為甚麼一般香港英文拼音是沒有 d b 及 g，例如「黃大仙」的英文拼音是「Wong Tai Sin」而不是「Wong Dai Sin」，「石硤尾」是「Shek Kip Mei」不是「Shek Gip Mei」，「寶琳」是「Po Lam」而不是「Bo Lam」。

唔清楚.... 我對其他地方方言無乜認識ja 同埋之前post o個段o野其實係喺第二度搵o既....(即係抄返黎) 不過香港廣東話好似無分震唔震o既聲母 只有分送唔送氣 所以香港d地名同人名拼音應該好少會用到d, b, g做開頭 不過香港d地方名o既拼音又真係怪怪地o既 好似唔係幾統一

For studying Cantonese I would need a good dictionary. Does an English-Cantonese (with yjutping!) dictionary exist? Does anyone know about it? Yes, that's the link for Cantonese-English lexicographical resource including a mini on-line dictionary.
 
There is an English-Cantonese Dictionary but that used Yale not Jyutping romanisation:

Provided sufficient foreigners who intend to learn Cantonese exist, definitely there shall be a good market of dictionaries featuring Cantonese-English comparison. However, as Mandarin becomes more and more popular in communities oversea, Cantonese is no longer well known as usual and few foreigners take it for granted as a tool to know more about China. As a result, such kind of book or dictionary is hardly to be seen in bookstores nowadays.

Dear 余OK, Unfortunately you are right. I am rather unhappy about the lack of Chinese resources in my country. In my hometown I tried to search for a dictionary in Chinese but could not find one. Niether in Mandarin, nor in Cantonese. Nowadays Mandarin is getting more and more popular, I am aware of that. But I prefer Cantonese language. I love the sound of it more, and even though  Mandarin is said to be easier to learn (because there are less tones), for me Cantonese seems easier. For me Hong Kong movies are the best resources and I keep watching them. I hope that something will be done in the future to have dictionaries and books for those who would like to learn this wonderful and exciting language. <img smilieid="3" src="http://bbs.cantonese.asia/images/smilies/default/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Dear Klara, actually Cantonse is also a traditional,  active and lovely language that we natives are not boasting, because we know the internal spirit and external feature of it.
