<P><FONT size=4>閩南文讀，堪稱當代河洛語。</FONT></P>

<P><FONT size=4>閩南文讀有幾個標準，其中正統以泉州音為代表（於近年被廈門音替代），留有八音，跟韻書更是匹配度超過95%，是近唐音，加入極少部分正韻音。</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4></FONT> </P>
<P><FONT size=4>閩南文讀的正統拼音系統為反切，即大概以前字做聲母，后字做韻母，拼合而成。於近百年前，仍然以反切注音。由於長期有正統漢語拼音法（反切）存在，外來音僅僅只能影響其口音，而基本穩定而不變。</FONT></P>

<P><FONT size=4><FONT color=darkorange>閩南文讀非古代雅言，其特點是比古代雅言稍輕，即全濁音正體微輕化，韻母亦與古代雅言不同，同樣呈現正體微清化，如古代的um，在閩南文讀中，統一變為un。</FONT>正由於其變化的統一性，切韻書匹配度依然難以置信的高！被稱作近唐音！</FONT></P>

<P><FONT size=4>文讀重讀則聲音雄厚，輕讀則溫文爾雅，</FONT><FONT color=red size=5><STRONG>經過生活考驗。閩南文讀與白讀音相去甚遠，純粹用文讀之音與白讀音效相差較大。故閩南語長期存在白讀與文讀之分。</STRONG></FONT></P>

<P><FONT size=4>據考證，閩南白讀音為古代漢語語音殘留，為漢語未正音（雅言）之前存在之一方漢語語音，其分布遍及中國南部地區與東南亞，甚至在緯度較高的日本，日語里同樣能發現類似之白讀音。即連日語的我，就為閩南白讀，wat之音。更有大量異讀，如雪set等。閩南白讀藉助文讀詞彙長期寄生，形成了一定的穩定性。</FONT></P>
