Thanks, Steve! I really appreciate it. It has been a while since I heard you speak Cantonese. I kind of miss it.
You absolutely said it right that the students leave the language class, go home, and do nothing. I think I used to be like that.
I hope the Cantonese version of the LingQ will come out soon. As we say in Cantonese, "We have waited so long that our necks get longer".
BTW, I was a bit surprised when you said the French were the third largest group of audience of your blog. Or did you mean French learners?

Steve,
when will Chinese be available at LingQ?

I love it when you speak in Cantonese. So good for a guy that doesn't actively study, only spent 6 months to learn it years ago, and never practises.

We can have Chinese soon with some of the limitations that affect Japanese right now.Check our our new beginner Japanese content createad by our members!
Full blown Chinese will start in the new year, though.

Steve,
Is it ok if I transcript this video and put it on my blog for Cantonese learners? I will talk about your approach in language learning too.

For Cantonese learners who want to understand what Steve is saying, I have put the transcript, romanisation, and translation here:
