I saw a bird sing on a tree yesterday. (or simply "a singing bird").
She goes seeing her private doctor every Monday. (or simply "sees"; and we can say "on Mondays")henrywho 發表於 2012-7-17 10:02
I saw a bird singing in a tree yesterday. I saw a bird that was singing in a tree yesterday. I saw a singing bird in a tree yesterday. She goes to her private doctor every Monday. She goes to see her private doctor every Monday. She sees her private doctor every Monday.
We should use "on" to refer to those growing from the tree, like apple on the tree, whereas "in" refer to other things do not belong to the tree, like the boy is in the tree. |
