兆祥黄公祠在禅城区福宁路95号某部队驻地内,是著名中成药"黄祥华如意油"始创人黄大年的祠堂。黄大年字兆祥,佛山人,以勤俭起家,原经营"五福"灯饰店,清咸丰年间改营药油,以"黄祥华如意油"行于世,畅销海内外,民初时在广州、香港和新加坡等地设有分店,以至发家成巨富。于1920年不惜耗资巨万,按清代祠堂形式兴建这一大型祠堂建筑群。该祠气魄宏大,设计精巧独到,装修豪华考究,在当地祠堂建筑中很有代表性。主体建筑坐西向东,均硬山顶面宽三间,高大俊伟,由纵轴线上排列的头门、过亭、前殿、正殿等组成,南北两侧附有厢房,以左右青云巷相间,平面呈长方形,为三进院落四合院式布局,总面积约3000平方米。
其中以头门、过亭和前殿最为讲究,头门高大雄伟,具当地祠堂式建筑特点,前檐廊梁架遍布雕镂精致的漆金木雕,前墙的水磨青砖光洁如新,与左右青云巷门楼连成一气,使整体外貌气派不凡;高大挺拔的过亭坐落宽阔的天井院落之中,在当地祠堂建筑格式中极少见,为石柱卷棚歇山顶,从其精心设置的多种木雕构件,亦可见其设计之匠心独运。
前殿、正殿进深各三间,梁架为抬梁与穿斗混合式结构,宽敞明亮,装饰亦富丽高雅;主体建筑两旁的附属厢房建筑,各有四进,左右相对称,整齐划一,美观大方。
目前除头门于1988年局部被损毁外,所有建筑物保存完好,是城区内现存规模最大、设置最完整和装饰最华丽的祠堂建筑群,具较高的历史和艺术价值,1989年定为市级文物保护单位。

1999年，佛山市政府在黄公祠周围开辟休闲公园———兆祥公园，四周已完成绿化，在祠堂前面建起了池塘和休闲广场。同时，佛山市政府还决定筹资重建“黄公祠”，重现当年“大宅门”风采，并在此展示明清年代佛山成药业辉煌历史，并免费向市民开放。Re:[贴图]佛山兆祥公园

去那天刚好无带身份证，因为有身份证的佛山人有优惠。不过其实也因为我对粤剧的兴趣不太大，否则也会进去看看的。最让我不满的是里面不准拍摄，所以就坚决不进了。 em10:
