<P>案發於本月5日，亞利桑那州一間屋的29歲男屋主羅梅羅與39歲租客羅曼斯，被發現身中多槍死在屋內。羅梅羅的8歲大兒子接受警方問話時多次更改口供，最初宣稱放學回家後發現兩人的屍體，後來宣稱兩名死者被人槍傷，他為了「了結他們的痛苦」，於是在他們兩人身上各補了兩槍。</P>

<P>警方調查發現，男童曾向社工透露，他將被父母打屁股的次數記錄在一張紙上。男童向警方供認，他在案發前一天忘記從學校帶回一些工作紙，爸爸於是叫後母打他的屁股，該晚他被打了5次，令他被打總數達到自己設下的1000次上限。</P>

<P>警方公開盤問男童的錄影帶，在問話結束前，男童用外套包着自己他的頭。警官問他在想什麼時，他回覆說﹕「我想我要住男童院了。」</P>

<P>祖父母不驚訝 祖母：父母對他太嚴厲</P>

<P>男童沒有精神病紀錄，也沒有在接受任何治療。由於他尚未成年，當局基於保護理由，沒有公開他的名字。警方形容，他殺害父親的行動「有預謀和有組織」。據悉，當警方向男孩的祖父母表示男孩已承認殺父時，他們都沒有感到特別驚訝，祖父大聲叫道﹕「如果有哪個8歲的孩子做得出這樣的事，那一定是他。」祖母則補充稱﹕「我就知道這會發生！他們（男孩父母）對他太嚴厲了。」</P>
