喺鄉下地頭「灣車」一詞由細聽到大，早已習以為常。大早以為操廣州音人士冇「灣車」嘅講法，出到城固之然要改口講「泊車」，近來城中人似乎更有普化成「停車」嘅趨勢，但須知stop同park係兩回事！終有一日，鄉音不改「灣車」無意中噏咗出嚟，聽倌似作「驚為天聲」之狀：乜你哋有噉講法o架？我都好耐冇喺廣州聽過「灣車」喇。由是先知不獨「灣船」專美，「灣車」亦為省城原生態講法，不過即使係噉，「灣車」都唔輕易飆出口，對相熟之人當然直說無妨，對住成口「粵音普語」者唔怕畀人話你「莨丙」咩？我心有戚戚然囉。（參考：<A href="http://bbs.cantonese.asia/viewthread.php?tid=8516">粵協成員於《南方都市報》之《白話廣州》版專欄連載</A>，7樓）

又岂关普化既事呢

都应该听过「停车做爱枫林晚」啦呱

我係喺廣州大嘅，以前喺未有「泊車」之前，確實係講「灣車」嘅。
 
廣州同其它埞方一樣，以前都係船係主要嘅交通工具，講「灣車」一dit都唔出奇。
 
以前冇「泊車」呢個詞，但係有「將駕車泊埋路邊」嘅講法。
 
另外，將「停車」當「灣車、泊車」肯定係錯嘅。「灣車」肯定係「停車」，但係「停車」就未必係「灣車」，事關你可能將駕車停喺路中間嘅。

通常停車之後，重會有句泊埋一邊，怕你部車停喺路中間阻住人。呢兩個詞分工好清楚架，一個係停，一個係泊。唔通你見到紅綠燈停車，又要泊埋一邊咩。只有嗰啲退化咗嘅人，先唔識分呢兩個詞。

系咪无「泊埋一边」个句，你就唔识得泊埋一边啊？
 
事实就系无「泊埋一边」个句，你自己都识得泊埋一边。
 
甘好明显净系叫你「停车」，就已经包含咗要你泊埋一边啦。
