<P>七十年代嘅友谊商店同以前嘅南方大厦一样，只招待外宾同港澳同胞；而茗荷介嗰张可以从啲的士车牌睇出系八十年代影嘅。</P> <P>噢～</P>
<P>我記得嚿年正佳嗰度都係Kwangchow Friend 而家變成咗 Guangzhou Friend喇</P>
<P>人哋話呢啲叫改革喎</P>

<P>卢总嗰张冇的士，但系我记忆中唔会早过80年，因为我跟过大佬去提过货（即系海外<FONT color=blue>买单</FONT>、国内提货嗰种），当时沙尘滚滚，应该冇铁栏杆同咁靓嘅地面。</P> <P>唔好傻啦！八十年代之前，友谊商店几时有对外开放过？</P>
<P>七十年代尾八十年代初我都去过好多次白云宾馆，唔通我唔知咩？</P>
<P>七十年代末八十年代初嘅交易会，我哋都系因为有关系攞到入场券先可以入去参观咋！</P>

<P>友谊商店绝对系八十年代之后先至正式对外开放嘅。</P>
<P>不过嗰阵时并唔系全面对外开放，有部分楼层只对外宾同港澳同胞开放。</P>
<P>而且嗰阵时友谊商店啲商品系有三种标价嘅：人民币、港纸同埋兑换券。</P> <P>我搵嗰幅圖嘅圖釋係「GLS / 1981 / Guangzhou and Pearl River / Guangdong 」，1981年。</P>

<P align=left><STRONG></STRONG><BR>In the 1980s every major town in China had a Friendship Store. Entry was reserved for <FONT color=blue>foreign tourists and embassy staff, etc., and also certain levels in the ** hierarchy</FONT>. Beijing also had a Friendship Hotel to which the same restrictions applied. </P>

<P>The goods for sale in a Friendship Store were mainly targetted at tourists, most of whom would never see the inside of a normal retail shop. On a typical tour tourists would be bussed to a Friendship Store at every stop. </P>
<P> </P>
<P>Many of the items for sale could also be obtained elsewhere. However Friendship Stores also sold luxury goods and food products that were not generally available, so an entry pass was a valuable perk to a ** or ** official. </P>
<P> </P>
<P><FONT color=blue>Note here the title says "Kwangchow Friendship Store". "Kwangchow" is the transliteration of the name of the city as pronounced in the Cantonese dialect, whereas "Guangzhou" comes from Mandarin, the dialect spoken in the North of China which has long been the official language. The Chinese characters are also in the traditional form as still used by Cantonese speakers, not the simplified form used elsewhere. </FONT></P>
