slang 同埋 idiom 均為可數名詞,兩者都應係眾數先啱。。。

多謝 a_qi 指出在下誤區,slang係集合名詞,不可數。

Nope.
"Slang" is uncountable.
You can say "slang expressions" or "slang words" if you want a plural form.

Google dictionary:
slang
/slæŋ/DJ
/slæŋ/KK
very informal words and expressions that are more common in spoken language, especially used by a particular group of people, for example, children, criminals, soldiers, etc. 俚語 noun uncountable

Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary:
slang
noun /slæŋ/ n [U]
very informal language that is usually spoken rather than written, used especially by particular groups of people
    army slang
   a slang expression
'Chicken' is slang for someone who isn't very brave.

回覆 2# a_qi

Thank you so much for pointing out my mistake.

Yes, I have consulted several dictionaries and learned that the word slang is mass noun.
I was taught to use the plural form at school, and took it for granted.

Thanks again for correcting me.
