覺得用「進階」表示advanced嘅意思，好過用「高級」，「高級」係 high class。

粵語羅馬字用 Y 代表「衣」字聲母， J 代表「知」字聲母。咁係因為︰
 
拼音化粵文要成功，最好要貼近而家坊間流傳、實際用緊嘅拼法，先至有民眾基礎。
大家如果有寫過英文信寄去香港嘅話，就會見到呢種近似耶魯拼音嘅拼法，目前正正喺英文地名、街名、人名度用緊。既然有廣大民眾基礎，認受性就更高。
 
例如：8 Long Yat Road, Yuen Long, Hong Kong 香港元朗朗日路八號
Leong Siu Yan 梁小欣
 
反而語言學會拼音除咗學術研究同語言學習之外，並冇日常生活嘅應用例子。冇民生基礎，粵民難以接受。

---------------这个我绝对同意，既然传统已经形成，尽量不要做过大改动。香港语言学会估计也没有能力向全港推广他们拼音方案，这个一个没有多大凝聚力的团体。

我都覺得字面書寫嘅時候用 "y" 好啲，音標就用 "j".
 
但係音標入便有一個 "yun" （圓），音標係，噉點呢？唔通寫成 yyun?

呢個好，我表示支持。
 
冚世界都將 "y" 作為聲母字母，唯獨粵語拼音將佢當咗做韻母字母，真係有啲怪怪哋。
 
書寫嘅時候就用 "y" 代替 "j"，用 "ue" 代替 "yu"。
